Amun Ini Dive
Bohol Island is located in the center of the coral triangle – the global center of marine biodiversity which comprises the countries of Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and the Philippines. As this area contains 76% of the world’s coral species, 6 of the world’s 7 marine turtle species, and over 2,000 reef fish species, our resort in Bohol provides the best opportunities for diving.
Amun Ini dive is located at the east end of Bohol Island, Amun ini dive is far from some of the more crowded tourist destinations such as Panglao. We are known for our quiet private white sand cove and abundant more than 33 dive sites which are all located mostly less than 15 minutes from the dive shop. Amun Ini Dive prides itself to have a very personalized oversized briefing and equipment facility. The Dive Centre is spacious and airy, and well-suited to professional photographers and videographers dedicated large camera room. We schedule 2 guided boat dives in the morning 2 dives in the afternoon followed by a mandarin dive at 5 pm and night dive at 6pm. Because our dive sites are so close, we easily come back between the dives to the resort for the surface interval after each dive. We are very flexible, and are happy to tailor our dives to your needs – just let our dive guides know what you’re interested in seeing, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. We offer a variety of different dive packages, and all include one of our knowledgeable dive guides and marine biologists. If you’re planning on diving with children, please enquire about safety considerations for divers below the age of 15 years. We’ll need to know well in advance if you’d like to book a course, hire equipment, or engage the services of a private guide. Please be advised that due to our remote location and distance from the nearest recompression chamber, we dive very conservatively. Safety is our priority, so we don’t allow deco diving, solo dives, or dives deeper than 30 meters. Above all, our awareness for conservation. We understand that it is our duty to protect this pristine and healthy marine environment. It is for that reason that we implemented a no-touching policy for all snorkelers and divers. We want the corals & critters to be as beautiful tomorrow, as it is today.

Amun Ini Reef Relief
At the core of our operation is the belief that sustainable tourism and community-based conservation are mutually beneficial. We seek to demonstrate to our local hosts, government, guests, and ourselves that sustainable tourism can provide a better life than logging, mining, or overfishing. Amun Ini has worked together with our local marine biologist school and government body in order to establish a marine protected area in front our our resort.
Together with our 5 in house marine biologist and divemasters they planted so far thirty thousand corals and build 60 small artificial reefs in order to create a new environment for our local critters. The local government body BISU has 5 projects as such throughout the Philippines and conducts surveys each year. According to all studies the biodiversity has doubled within the past 3 years and our MPA has been the most successful in coral restoration throughout the Philippines with 86% success rate.
PARADISE! Great experience, lovely people, delicious food, highly recommended!
Small paradise: amazing resort and fantastic diving on site
“The dive sites are beautiful and we saw loads of corals, unusual fish and turtles! The PADI dive centre staff are super fun and really nice. Lito, Jossie,Regie and Vincent particularly. Incredibly they do everything for you, even putting your fins on your feet! And they are the best guides, spotting tiny pigmy sea horses, nudis or shrimps for us. “
